The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Gemma Arterton has been chosen as the latest Bond girl in Columbia Picture's BOND 22 which is currently shooting in London. Details on Arterton's character have yet to be released but a representative has been quoted as saying "it's a nice-sized role".
The 21-year-old Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts grad joins a cast that includes Craig, Judi Dench, Giancarlo Giannini, Mathieu Amalric, Jeffrey Wright and Jesper Christensen.
The latest Bond film will take up where "Casino Royale" left off. Paul Haggis teamed with Forster on a draft of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade's screenplay. The movie is set for release Nov. 7.
