According to
Variety, Paramount Pictures recently shelled out six figures to acquire rights to a New York Times
article called "Mystery on Fifth Avenue". The article talks about a family who renovated their new 4,200 square foot '20s-era co-op with Central Park views apartment on Fifth Avenue and discovered a Rube Goldberg type mystery built into their home. An architectural designer who oversaw the rehab job left behind a series of messages, games and treasures, unbeknownst to the family, who eventually unraveled a mystery that featured a poem, a book, a soundtrack and a host of historical figures.
