AMC's SciFi Scanner blog got a nice interview with J Michael Straczynski about his script for the in-development SILVER SURFER spin-off. Here's a highlight:
Q: Does this pick up where Silver Surfer left off in Fantastic Four 2?
A: I was writing it as FF2 was about to come out, and the theory was for it to pick up literally the next frame after the FF2 movie, where you find out why Silver Surfer was there and what happened to him. We would have seen Galactus, his home world, what happened and him trying to get back there, because now that he's betrayed Galactus, he's concerned his home world might be in jeopardy.

Head over here to see a new DARK KNIGHT viral game.
Thanks to the industrious users over at the Superhero Hype! Forums, this much has been gleamed:
- Text messages were received on the Joker phones, bearing the message "Short-Attention-Span Theater: Liar Thug Unsult Hut (-un)".
- Playing with the letter order of the Liar Thug Unsult Hut (-un) reveals Laugh Til It Hurts, which was used as another WhySoSerious link.
- At WhySoSerious.com/Laughtilithurts, a racing game is setup.
- 'Somehow' () the code bgygbrgbyrygbgybbrbyg was gleaned.
- Using the letters as they correspond with the colors on the wheel (blue, green, red, yellow), clicking on the colors in that code order yields a ticket than takes you to http://whysoserious.com/laughtilithurts/static.htm
All of this is courtesy of the Superhero Hype! Forums so mosey over there to see more of the discussion.

Universal Pictures really wants you to see WANTED as they have they have given Empire Magazine another extended clip and have put up a r-rated clip over at AOL. They're not kidding around with that age verification either, you have to put in your real information or it will not validate.
I think Universal Pictures might be going just a tad overboard on the internet promotion, if the first 7 minute extended scene wouldn't make you think that, how about the 8 clips over at Yahoo! Movies? I understand the idea of using the internet as a medium to promote your movie, and the reemergence of red band trailers is great as it truly allows the studio to properly market the movie, but there is such a thing as excess.

Usually red band trailers are used to show violent scenes that cannot be shown in green band trailers, occasionally they'll just let the characters swear more but it in the case of THE WACKNESS' red band, we get to see Ben Kingsley hitting a bong. The trailer delves a lot more into Luke's drug business and how it affects his life as well as the friendship that develops between Luke and Dr. Squires.
